Job Description:
Engineer Trainee
Candidate should possess B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent in the field of Electronics and
Telecommunication/Computer Science/Physics or MCA with a recommended minimum of 60% marks
from a recognized University/Institution. Percentage of marks is relaxable if the candidate's
technical knowledge is exceptional. Candidates should have good knowledge in C, C++, Perl and Python.
Knowledge of C/C++, Perl, Python and web development are essential.
Must be proficient in PHP, HTML/CSS and Javascript.
Must be familiar with Unix/Linux platform, Apache Server configuration, and PostgreSQL.
To be a part of the payload operations team in the UVIT Project that handles data pipeline
processing and software development for the ASTROSAT mission.
Candidate should not have any objection to travel to field stations when required.
