Job Description
1) Technical Assistant (Reserved for
ST)

Age Limit : Not exceeding 33 years on the last
date for receipt of applications
Qualification :
10+2 with
Science subjects followed by 1st class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering of 3
years full time duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission
after 10+2, if applicable) or its equivalent.
Pay Scale : Rs..9300 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200 in
the Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800
2) Technical Assistant (Unreserved)
No. of Positions : 1
Pay Scale : Rs.9300 + Grade Pay of Rs.4200 in
the Pay Band PB-2 Rs.9300-34800
Age Limit : Not exceeding 28 years on the last
date for receipt of applications
Qualification :
10+2 with
Science subjects followed by 1st class Diploma in Civil Engineering of 3 years
full time duration (2/2.5 years full time duration in cases of lateral admission
after 10+2, if applicable) or its equivalent.

1) Candidates
should apply On Line on or before 14-08-2012. Hard copy of the online
application
duly signed along with recent passport size photograph, attested copy of matriculation/SSLC
as proof of age/degree/provisional degree certificate copies of marksheets for
all the semesters/years, SC/ST/OBC certificate(s) work experience certificates,testimonials
etc. should be sent in a sealed cover superscribed “Application for the postof_________________”
to “THE ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER, CSIR-STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING RESEARCH CENTRE,
CSIR CAMPUS, POST BAG NO.8287, CSIR ROAD, TARAMANI , CHENNAI 600 113 on or
before 24-08-2012.
2) Candidates
should submit with each filled up application a Crossed Demand Draftfor`.100/-
drawn in favour of I.R.F, SERC payable at Chennai towards application fee. No fee
for SC/ST candidates and regular employees of CSIR. Persons with disabilities
are also exempted from payment of application fee subject to submission of
prescribed medical certificate.
